BLUE / BLACK 500uF KASABubble Technology!!
Guaranteed to heat your pool quicker compared to cheaper blue 400uF standard bubble covers. If it's not KASABubble technology then it's not KASABubble
What is KASABubble technology?
It is a innovative bubble 500µF ( Not 400µF ) that has been scientifically designed to increase the expected lifespan of swimming pool bubble cover material by up to 25%*.
The science behind KASABubble technology
Swimming pool covers are exposed to high Ultra Violet (UV) radiation and chemical attack. KASABubble material has been designed specifically for use in this environment to help make it resistant against these attacks.
A traditional bubble cover materials original design was developed from the packaging industry, which is a high volume, low quality packaging bubble material which only has a short life-span. Because of this, traditional bubbles have several inherent weaknesses in their material size, including thin points and high residual stress. Thin points in a bubble design are weak points which are quickly broken down by UV and chemical attack. The degradation process is accelerated in areas of high stress, as these areas are under constant strain. These factors result in the bubble material breaking down, and ultimately, premature failure of the swimming pool cover.
Why Customers Buy BLUE / BLACK Colour Covers instead of just BLUE?
- Blue-black cover features a blue top layer and a black bottom layer that provides a discreet look while the color BLACK is maximising the absorption capabilities from sun's warming rays in the shortest time, and then transferring absorbed heat back into the pool. This results in quicker heat up.
What makes KASABubble materials unique?
- Extra large 500µF Materials ( Not 400µF )
- The material contains less stress due to the smooth interconnected curves
- The overall thickness of the KASA design is more than a tradititional 400uF bubble
- Increased resilience against UV and chemical attack
Why does the KASA shape have a large footprint?
The design has a much larger footprint than most traditional bubble materials to allow for expansion of air in the bubble shape. The stiff waistline section makes the bubble strong enough to hold expanding air and will not stretch and burst under pressure. The large footprint also acts as an insulator, retaining heat in the pool, plus helps the cover stick to the water so it cannot be blown off the pool.
What is a stabilisation package?
Ultra Violet (UV) rays are emitted by the sun and are partly absorbed by the Ozone layer. UV light is destructive not only to the human skin but also to many manmade materials including polyethylene and plastic products. Unless such materials are specially treated, they become faded and brittle if exposed to UV light and chemicals. So the bubble design alone will not stop premature failure of a swimming pool cover. In cooperation with suppliers and partners we have developed the best additive, stabiliser and anti-oxidant package. This package dramatically increases the lifespan of the swimming pool cover material by helping to make it more resistant to UV light and chemical attack. In combination with the unique KASA technology bubble, this radically increases the longevity of the product.
How was the KASABubble design developed?
The 500µF bubble design has been developed over many years in collaboration with many different manufacturers. This synergy between academic and industrial knowledge has enabled the design of the best swimming pool cover material available. Along with the bubble design research has also gone in to the use of the best additives, stabilisers, and anti oxidant package, with the aim to provide the best performing and longest lasting swimming pool bubble cover material on offer.
“The new KASABubble design has been engineered to give increased stiffness to the form and increased life for the product. This has been done after careful analysis of the shape, material and manufacturing process. The final bubble form is attractive and also has more uniform wall thickness and much less internal stress”

Swimming Pool Covers,Thermal Pool Covers & Solar Pool Covers
In today’s economic times, many consumers are looking for a way to save money and be good to the environment at the same time. Solar pool coversare a way to do just that. There are many benefits to choosing a solar pool cover. Solar energy is renewable and sustainable – we will never run out of the source of solar energy. There are also several government programs and rebates available for those who install solar energy options. Solar energy offers an opportunity for consumers to “live off the grid” and be responsible for their own utilities, instead of renting energy from the utility company. Also, solar energy technology is always improving, and it is a quiet option to improving your energy costs.
Solar Pool Covers & Their Benefits
One of the most cost efficient ways to reduce heating loss from your pool is by purchasing a solar pool cover. In addition to keeping your pool’s heat, solar pool covers also reduce the amount of water that evaporates, which can also reduce the amount of chemicals you need to treat the pool each summer. Due to their special materials, solar pool covers are a great way to keep your pool in top shape and are an important part of pool maintenance.
What is a solar pool cover?
A solar pool cover differs from a standard pool cover due to the materials that go into the construction. Instead of being a thin piece of cloth, a solar pool cover is comprised of a material that looks similar to bubble wrap. These small bubbles work to trap the sun’s rays and then push them into the water, thereby preserving the heat of your pool. The more of these tiny bubbles contained within the pool cover, the more heat the cover will retain. Most solar pool cover s are translucent to assist in pushing the heat from the sun’s rays into the water. Since the material creates a greenhouse effect where no heat can escape, this will keep your pool at least 8% warmer when compared to normal covers.
Why do I need a solar pool cover?
Solar pool covers are a great way to save money, both by heating your pool and by reducing the amount of chemicals you need to treat your pool. Because of the way these pool covers are designed, they reduce the amount of water that evaporates from you pool. Most pools need to be continually treated with chemicals due to evaporation, which can increase the cost of pool maintenance. Because solar covers reduce t amount you spend on maintenance yearly, they often pay for themselves over time.
What are the benefits of a solar pool cover?
If maintaining your pool has become a costly endeavor, then purchasing a solar pool cover can help reduce the costs associated with maintaining your pool. By reducing evaporation and maintaining your heat level in your pool, you can save money on both chemicals and electricity. Covers also help keep out leaves and other debris, so you spend less time cleaning your pool and more time enjoying it. While it may seem like a hassle to replace the cover after every swim, by performing this basic task you can save several hundred dollars a year. As you can see, the benefits of owning a solar pool cover for your pool are more than enough to warrant purchasing the product. Solar pool covers cost nearly the same as traditional pool covers and require the same amount of maintenance. When considering the amount of money saved, as well as time saved when it comes to cleaning the pool, a solar cover is definitely a worthy investment.
